Installing requirements
1． equipment and pipe installing requirements
（1） Pump inlet pipe and export pipeline should be supported, in order to prevent transfer to pump extra load, pump can not be used as the pipe stress point, to ensure that pipeline system haing compensating measures provided for thermal expansion.
（2） When inhaled pressed into head is lower, entrance pipe should be short as far as possible, to prevent cavitation. Entrance pipeline should have proper size to ensure flow is not exceed 3m/s, in conveying easy vaporization fluid or liquefied gas, ensure no more than 1m/s.
（3） Outlet pipeline should be installed a regulator to adjust the pump flow and head. In using longer export pipeline or two parallel used pump, suggest installating additional unidirectional check valves.
（4） The entire pipeline system and auxiliary piping shall be cleaned carefully, in order to prevent scrap iron and welding slag, or other material pouring into magnetic pump. For new piping systems, entry pipe shall be provided with a filter.
（5） Pipe design should be considered the exhaust of the pump.
（6） To realize pump continuous operation, suggest installing backflow pipeline, installing the minimum flow orifice plate to ensure continuous operation, sliding bearings have enough lubrication and cooling, reflux pipeline should be lead out from from outlet valve or before one-way check valve, through the minimum flow orifice plate returns to liquid storing tank. This type of installation can realize pump automatic exhaust.
（7） Bosheng brand magnetic pump must work in specified scope. To control the maximum flow, proposal is in outlet piping, installing a suitable maximum flow orifice plate.
2． process monitoring
Due to the design characteristics of magnetic pump, generally without repair, while in order to ensure the normal operation and safety working, should use process monitoring device, strict management.
（1） Entrance tank level protection control is necessary, entrance tank should be fitted with level transmeter or level switches, when the entrance tank level lower to a certain degree, automatic stop pump operations to protect pump.
（2） pump body shall be provided with temperature sensor, monitoring magnetic stator and pump bearing temperature, protect bearings and magnetic stator.
（3） pump outlet shall be provided with liquid level regulator, according to the entrance tank liquid level adjust conveyance medium emissions.
（4） should install differential pressure sensors and switches, measuring pump outlet and inlet pressure differential, automatic stopping when pressure differential is lower than the setting value, to protect the pump.
（5） the vibration of the pump is tiny, larger vibration and noise means failure.
（6） to guarantee the normal work, should guarantee pump working within the flow and head scope, the minimum and maximum working flow and head have instructions in performance curve.
（7） To avoid producing cavitation, Bosheng magnetic pump needs minimum inhaled pressure head(emin) when conveying easy vaporization fluid, calculation by following formula: (emin) (m) = pump NPSH (m) + inlet friction loss (m) + safety margin (m), safety margin usually is 0.5 m.
