Compared with the centrifugal pump using mechanical seal or packing seal, magnetic pump has the following advantages.
1 pump shaft is changed from dynamic sealing to closed static sealing, completely avoid the media leaks.
2. without independent lubrication and cooling water, reduce energy consumption.
3 coupling drive changes to synchronous drive, there is no contact and friction. Low consumption, high efficiency, and with damping vibration, reduce motor vibration to pump influence and pump occurred cavitation vibration to influence motor.
4 whn overload, internal and external magnetic rotor relative slips, to protect motor and pump.
operation notes
1． to prevent particles entering in
(1) It is not permitted ferromagnetic impurities, particles entering into the magnetic transmission device and bearing friction pair.
(2) After transmitting precipitation or easy to be crystallized media should promptly washing (stop the pump, and pouring the clean water into pump chamber, after operating 1min to exhaust clean), in order to ensure the service life of sliding bearing.
(3) transmitting medium containing solid particles, should filter in the entrance of pump tube.
2． Prevent demagnetization
(1) magnetic torque should not be designed too small.
(2) shall be operated under stipulated temperature condition, prohibit medium temperature overproof. Outside the magnetic pump distance sleeve surface can be installed platinum resistance temperature sensor to detect gap area temperature rise, in order to alarm or stop when the temperature is overproof.
3．prevent dry friction
(1）Prohibit idling.
(2）prohibit medium evacuation
(3) Under the outlet valve closed condition, pump continuous operation time shall not exceed 2min, prevent magnetic sensor overheating and failure.
Magnetic pump in dushanzi petrochemical branch refinery and ethylene unit focus dangerous area, with good effect. But because the price is relatively high, so mass using of pump has certain difficulty.
