What is a Heat Pump?
A machine that uses a small amount of primary energy (electricity) to create 2.5 to over 4 times the amount of Heat Energy i.e. 1kW Electricity in & 3kW Heat out. A Heat pumps is a means of transferring Heat Energy.
Carbon emissions can be reduced by over 50% when compared to conventional Heating systems (55% fuel boiler & 34% gas boiler). Running costs can be reduced by over 30% (48% fuel boiler & 22% gas boiler).
A Heating System which provides a complete heating supply for residential & commercial buildings. Under floor heating , Radiators or Fan coils and Domestic Hot Water. Plus optional domestic and commercial Air Conditioning.
There are two types of Heat Pump, Ground Source and Air Source. Both achieve the same result but have different methods of collecting / sourcing Heat Energy.
