The difference between magnetic pump and centrifugal pump
Magnetic pump is a centrifugal pump, by pump, magnetic actuators and motor parts. Ordinary centrifugal pump impeller directly driven motor, or driven impeller through magnetic coupling through the magnetic drive pump impeller. No mechanical seal can effectively prevent leakage. However, only a small magnetic pump magnetic drive power from the external magnetic rotor component part; the inner sleeve and outer magnetic rotor and magnetic rotor isolation media; outer magnetic rotor driven by a motor, rotates the use of the magnetic properties of fused within the magnetic rotor driving rotation, to complete non-contact torque transmission, so as to achieve the purpose of driving the pump.
Magnetic pump, simple and compact structure. The unique lubrication and cooling circuit, part of the process of self-lubricating and cooling transmission fluid components, eliminating the need for cooling pump mechanical seals, flush, quench pipe tread system so complicated. Maximum design inlet pressure to 30MPa, mechanical pump seal is difficult to do this. With mechanical seal or packing of centrifugal pumps compared to magnetic pump has the following advantages:
1. Shaft seal into enclosed by the moving static seal, completely avoiding the leakage of the medium;
2. No separate lubrication and cooling water, reducing energy consumption;
3. become synchronized by the coupling transmission drag, there is no contact and friction. Power consumption, high efficiency, and has a damping effect, reducing the impact of motor vibration on pumps and pump cavitation effects of vibration on the motor;
4. Overload, internal and external magnetic rotor relative slip of the motor, the pump has a protective effect.
